On Wednesday 12th of September all of Transition Year travelled to Causey Farm in Co. Meath.
Whilst on site students first took part in bread making. There were a few cracked eggs and a few very salty loaves but most students managed to produce something edible.
During the next activity students were split into groups to learn some Irish dancing. Some of the students took to the dancing like a duck to water but others, despite their best efforts, would still be there trying to learn the dance if the bus didn’t have to leave.
Students then had the opportunity to explore the farm before the highlight of the day for many students which was jumping in the bog! The photographs speak for themselves!
A huge thank you to Ms. Brosnan for her organisation of the day!
