Eight students: Gavin Lincon (1A), Tiernan Grimes (1B), Chloe O’Reilly (1D), Reegan Bartley (3A), Stephen Mullen (3B), Zara Synnott (4C), Cianán Power (5A) and Anna Minton (5C) from St. David’s attended Parkview Hotel, Newtownmountkennedy for the 'Youth Summit’ (Comhairle na nÓg AGM) where the Comhairle na nÓg discussed the work they do on issues affecting young people today. Joined by other students from schools around Wicklow, the students discussed how youth from Wicklow can be more involved in decision making and explored how climate action is both local and global. The students used digital engagement throughout the day and listened to a combination of presentations and dynamic workshops. It was a very productive and enjoyable day.
