On Tuesday 31st of August St. David's Holy Faith Secondary School opened once again to allow the incoming cohort of 136 first year students to enter the building. This was the first day in almost six months that the school was officially open for students and all staff were delighted to see scheduled classes taking place within the school building once again.
The incoming first years were guided to their base classes by 15 helpful fifth year students who cut their Summer holidays short to provide assistance. They then met their tutors for the year (Mr. O' Dowd, Ms. de Blacám, Mr. Hassett, Mr. Redmond and Ms. Murphy) before receiving their timetable and going for a tour of the school building.
Best of luck to all the incoming students who are transitioning from primary school.
