The Past Pupils' Union
At St David’s, we highly value our alumni, whether they remain local and embedded within the community or live further afield. Over the years, we have enjoyed welcoming back our former students to Open Nights, Parent-Teacher Meetings or for informal visits and catch-ups.

As part of our Strategic Vision Plan, 2021-2026, we sought to formalise these enduring connections by establishing an alumni association. The St David’s Past Pupils’ Union (PPU) was constituted in September 2023 thanks to the dedication of Ronan Lupton, Professor Brian Harney, Ciara Whooley, Will Dalton, Peter Brady, Dr. Janette McGuinness, Rian Hayden, Adam Harris and Keith McCabe.
The PPU Mission
The PPU aims to provide a platform for past pupils, regardless of graduating class and current geographical location, to reconnect with friends and classmates and form new links with others who share a common heritage. It is envisioned that as the PPU begins expanding its activities in 2025 and beyond, there will be an array of ways in which to become involved in the ever-growing programme. These include reunions, dinner receptions and informal social gatherings, as well as networking opportunities.

In November 2024, a team of TY students including Noah Morgan, Evelyn Kirwan, Lucy Barrett, Luke Larkin, Jack Clery, Ewan McAdam and Ben Gulyás began work on developing the PPU’s first ever website with a view to creating an online space for such connections to occur and for alumni to join the network. We plan to launch in January 2025; keep an eye on our social media channels for further information about how to sign up and become involved. The PPU look forward to partnering with you in this exciting new chapter of our school’s community.
