1st Year Girls Soccer Vs. Coláiste Chill Mhantáin

The St David's 1st Year girls travelled to Coláiste Cill Mhantáin on Tuesday and had an absolutely amazing match, winning 4 - 0! This was from the help of the coaches, Ms. Coleman and two dedicated TY students, Sarah McCloskey and Lucy Finnegan.

In the first half the game was even with both St David’s and Coláiste Cill Mhantáin having equal possession and control of the ball. The girls showed extraordinary skill and remained calm and in control at all times.

Fortunately, in the second half our number 14, Bella Simpson, scored a wonderful goal early on that Cruyff himself would have been proud of and St David’s seemed to have the game completely under control. Just two minutes later Bella Simpson scored another goal making the score now 2 - 0. Then after five more minutes Bella Simpson scored yet another amazing goal for a hat trick! Then to finish off the game, number 15, Ciara Lehane, scored a last second goal making the final score 4 - 0 to St David's! It was a fantastic game, well done girls!
