Kick off was at 11:00am, it was a tough match with our defence being worked hard from the off. Our 1st Year Girls' GAA team were in action on Wednesday 18th of March in an intense blitz with Loreto Bray and Coláiste Ráithín. In the first game, a team led by Mr. Tierney put up an excellent fight against Coláiste Ráithín but were unfortunately defeated. They showed steady improvement throughout the match and stayed incredibly competitive against such a tough team. There are plenty of positives to take from this game and the girls should be proud of their determination. I
