Seachtain na Gaeilge March 2026
Seachtain na Gaeilge a bhí ann an tseachtain seo. Over the last number of days we, as a school community have celebrated everything to do with Irish culture, whether it be through traditional music, dance, Gaeilge and more. Every year group was involved in activities to celebrate this very important and special week. January Whole School Assembly 29/1/25
The fifth whole school assembly of the year took place on the 29th of January to bring the school community together and to celebrate Catholic schools week. The assembly began with an opening from our principal, Mr. Carey, followed by a prayer read by Deaglán O’Neill. After this, a few words were said by both the Head Boy Rían and the Head Girl Kate about the upcoming exams and the new after school homework club that will be taking place every Friday. Share our school day 2026
On the 28th of January 2026, St. David's invited first years to bring their grandparents, parents, guardians, aunts, uncles or friends into our school for a morning of making St. Brigid's crosses over a cup of tea. We were very lucky to have Fr. Barnardo in to officially open the morning with a prayer, reminding us of the Catholic ethos of our school.
