January Whole School Assembly 29/1/25
The fifth whole school assembly of the year took place on the 29th of January to bring the school community together and to celebrate Catholic schools week. The assembly began with an opening from our principal, Mr. Carey, followed by a prayer read by Deaglán O’Neill. After this, a few words were said by both the Head Boy Rían and the Head Girl Kate about the upcoming exams and the new after school homework club that will be taking place every Friday. Share our school day 2026
On the 28th of January 2026, St. David's invited first years to bring their grandparents, parents, guardians, aunts, uncles or friends into our school for a morning of making St. Brigid's crosses over a cup of tea. We were very lucky to have Fr. Barnardo in to officially open the morning with a prayer, reminding us of the Catholic ethos of our school. Christmas Concert 2025!
On Friday the 19th of December, we closed out the calendar year with one final show-stopping event: our annual Christmas concert! Mr. Carey began the day by welcoming everyone, reminding us all of the special quality that Christmas possesses - that it is the season of family, respect and, ultimately, love. He also spoke about the unifying nature of the season, regardless of our individual backgrounds whilst also highlighting the importance of celebrating the birth of Jesus. O
