Maths week 13-17 October 2025
From 13-17 October, our school took part in Maths week, a highly anticipated week of events that involved all of the school community.  Every morning during announcements different riddles were broadcast, giving students and teachers a chance to challenge themselves and their problem solving skills. Some examples of such riddles are, ‘If John is 10 and his dad is 30 how many years until John's dad would be double his age?’. As well as ‘ If it takes 3 cats 3 minutes to catch 3

YSI Promoting Women in sport every Monday
This Monday the 13th of October saw the beginning of an exciting initiative to promote women’s sport in our own school. At lunchtime, the sports arena will be open to girls of all year groups to use for sports of their liking. This project was launched by the Young Social Innovators team that consists of Transition Year students Beth Deery, Melanie Porter, Alannah Smith, Alanna Synnott, Jennifer Coyle, Ciara Fitzgerald and Sadhbh Doyle. Junior Cycle results 2025!
On Wednesday, 8th of October, we had the chance to celebrate the remarkable results of the Junior Cycle class of 2025. After all the hard work conducted over three years, our TYs had the opportunity to enjoy an incredible set of grades across all subjects. A total of 118 students received their results at assembly in the main school foyer.
