On the 5th of December our Transition Year boys football team travelled down to Arklow to play their first game of the TY Cup against Arklow CBS. The boys started the game with their heads held high. They were all communicating well with one another and within the first 10 minutes Damiano Martin scored by putting the ball in the top corner. On Wednesday the 3rd of December, a group of 15 TYs organised a Christmas movie night for the first years in aid of Tiglin. The tickets cost €10 upon entry, which included a goodie bag. The group of TYs who organised it will be taking part in a sleepout on December 12th in the Marina in Greystones and donate the money raised to Tiglin to help those sleeping rough this Christmas. From 13-17 October, our school took part in Maths week, a highly anticipated week of events that involved all of the school community.  Every morning during announcements different riddles were broadcast, giving students and teachers a chance to challenge themselves and their problem solving skills.
