Junior cert awards 2025
On the 26th of January 2026, St. David’s celebrated their Junior Cycle Class of 2025. Each student's grades were congratulated and every student who received a distinction was additionally presented with an award. Our students outdid themselves this year and made the school proud as our total student cohort achieved an outstanding 201 distinctions! This is 17.63%, which is double the national average of 8.65%. YSI girls in sport initiative
Our Young Social Innovators team has been working all year to promote women in sport. Our team wanted to focus on the huge inequalities that lie in the support available for women’s sport worldwide, and do what we can to help tackle this issue in our local area. TY Boys Soccer vs Arklow CBS
On the 5th of December our Transition Year boys football team travelled down to Arklow to play their first game of the TY Cup against Arklow CBS. The boys started the game with their heads held high. They were all communicating well with one another and within the first 10 minutes Damiano Martin scored by putting the ball in the top corner. They continued playing as a team all throughout the first half keeping one nil ahead. CBS had two goals disallowed due to being off side,
