Junior Girls Camogie VS St. Farnan's
On Friday, 9th of January our girls' camogie team travelled to Kildare to play St Farnan's. The team battled the whole match against a very strong side, but unfortunately couldn't quite clinch the win. The first half kicked off with the first point of the match scored by Moya Marrinan. Avondale trail run 18/11/25
It was a bright, crisp morning for our St. David's athletes in the Avondale Woods on the 18th of November. They arrived at the site at 11:50, with the area buzzing with competitors many different schools. Our team consisted of Kai, Oisín, Liam, Darragh, Jude, Stena and Rachel in first year, Connie and Ava in second year and James Dixon in fifth year. Avondale Cross Country 21/10
On a cold and damp Tuesday afternoon on the 21st of October our incredible athletes from first and second year travelled down to Avondale to compete in the cross country. They arrived at 11:45 and were raring to go, well practiced after training every Thursday after school in the run club. The events began with the first year girls who were running 1500 meters. Representing our school was Megan Driver and Rachel Cardey. Both placed within the top 30 out of over 60 people. The
