On Friday, 21st of November our 1st year boys played a total of 5 matches in a rugby blitz against St Benildus, Clonkeen, St Colmcilles and Newpark. On November 20th, the Junior Girls' rugby team travelled all the way to Kilkenny College for their cup quarter final. The match started at 11:55. St. David’s received the ball and made some great attacking plays. Millie Free made an excellent tackle denying Kilkenny College an otherwise-certain try. On Friday October 24th, our First Year Boys faced Templeogue and Colaiste Cholmcille in a seven aside rugby blitz. St David's had two exceptional teams playing in this blitz.  St David’s Team 1 started off strong with a victory over Temple Og with the score being 2-1 to Davids. Our Team 2 then played Cholmcille in their first match, also securing a victory with Matthew O'Brien scoring his first try of the season.
