On the 11th of May, our first year girls took on a challenging but enjoyable blitz. Despite the cold and damp weather, the girls were determined to put up a great fight and get stuck in. David’s first took on local rivals TCG, with the match kicking off at 9.45. They got involved from the very first whistle, showing off their skilful passing up and down the wings. At half time, the teams remained deadlocked, with a scoreline of. 0-0. In the second half TCG started to pick up

Last week, our school was extremely fortunate to have the incredible Paul McShane and Miguel Delaney give a talk to our soccer squads. They were interviewed by 5th year student, Kian Quigley who is an Irish youth international, and school player Eoin Waters. On Wednesday the 22nd of April our Junior Girls' soccer team faced a competitive match against St Colmcilles in Greystones United. After advancing to the Leinster championship, the girls were eager and ready for a tough competition. The first half kicked off at half twelve. From the start, the team were dominating, with some great saves from goalie Hazel Prendergast. A very strong offensive line kept pushing against the opposition, with some great tackles from Niamh O'Neill.
