Last week, our school was extremely fortunate to have the incredible Paul McShane and Miguel Delaney give a talk to our soccer squads. They were interviewed by 5th year student, Kian Quigley who is an Irish youth international, and school player Eoin Waters. On Wednesday the 22nd of April our Junior Girls' soccer team faced a competitive match against St Colmcilles in Greystones United. After advancing to the Leinster championship, the girls were eager and ready for a tough competition. The first half kicked off at half twelve. From the start, the team were dominating, with some great saves from goalie Hazel Prendergast. A very strong offensive line kept pushing against the opposition, with some great tackles from Niamh O'Neill.

On Monday the 20th of April the first year girls' soccer team, led by Mr. O’Donnchadha, made their way down to Greystones United to play a much anticipated match vs Scoil Críost Rí Portlaoise.
