Our Young Social Innovators team has been working all year to promote women in sport. Our team wanted to focus on the huge inequalities that lie in the support available for women’s sport worldwide, and do what we can to help tackle this issue in our local area. 1st & 2nd year basketball match vs Greystones community College
On the 15th of January, our 1st and 2nd year girls took to the court for their first game of the season. The girls' hopes and spirits were high as they warmed up, looking forward to their game. The girls were given some inspiration from their coaches Ms. Matthews and Ms. Flynn, allowing them to enter the match with confidence. Junior Girls Camogie VS St. Farnan's
On Friday, 9th of January our girls' camogie team travelled to Kildare to play St Farnan's. The team battled the whole match against a very strong side, but unfortunately couldn't quite clinch the win. The first half kicked off with the first point of the match scored by Moya Marrinan.
