The First and Second Year Boys' Gaelic football team played a fantastic blitz on the 26th of March against their rivals at Greystones Community College.  The blitz was played in Éire Óg. St David's and GCC both fielded 3 teams and every team played each other, allowing for five shortened games per team.  The blitz started at 11:15 with three games played at a time! Our 1st Year Girls' GAA team were in action on Wednesday 18th of March in an intense blitz with Loreto Bray and Coláiste Ráithín. In the first game, a team led by Mr. Tierney put up an excellent fight against Coláiste Ráithín but were unfortunately defeated. They showed steady improvement throughout the match and stayed incredibly competitive against such a tough team. There are plenty of positives to take from this game and the girls should be proud of their determination. I

On the 2nd of March, our First Year Boy’s Gaelic team played a match against Arklow, at home in Éire Óg. The game kicked off at 11:10 and the lads were off to a great start with an amazing offense, leading to an early point scored by Robbie. Arklow tried to counter attack after the point but David’s managed to tackle the ball off them and went on to score another point thanks to Ollie. The lads kept up the pressure and followed up with two more points before Arklow scored one
