On the 11th of December 2025, the Fifth Years partnered up with their 1st year buddies and engaged in various activities, encouraging bonding between years and learning for all. The first group of first years, along with their buddies, enjoyed a table quiz with a variety of topics. On Wednesday, 10th of December, our wonderful group of Sixth Years hosted St Catherine’s Christmas Party in the Sports Arena. The event was a resounding success with 52 students from St Catherine’s in attendance. The Sixth Years organised and ran multiple different activities, from giant connect-four to hand-painting, cookie decorating and Christmas colouring. Along with that, we had our very own Santa and Mrs. Claus in attendance played by Daniel O’Reilly and Maria Hassett.

A big thank you to all the students, staff and parents who contributed to the SVP/Sugarloaf Lions hampers for Christmas appeal. The SVP group sorted everything out yesterday to create a lovely variety of items, sweet and savoury, in every hamper. The Lions collected them yesterday evening and three car loads containing all 38 hampers were being delivered at 3pm yesterday. Thank you for making such a difference to so many families this Christmas. Thanks a million.
