Clark Kelly: Irish Schools Lifesaving Champion
On Saturday, Deputy Head of Media Clark Kelly proudly represented St. David’s Holy Faith Secondary School at the Irish Schools Lifesaving Championships, held in Belvedere College. The competition, which has a rich heritage that dates back to 1936, saw Clark achieve a remarkable first place in both CPR and Rope Throw, and as a result was crowned the overall winner of the Irish Schools Senior Boys, Lifesaving Championship 2026. January Whole School Assembly 29/1/25
The fifth whole school assembly of the year took place on the 29th of January to bring the school community together and to celebrate Catholic schools week. The assembly began with an opening from our principal, Mr. Carey, followed by a prayer read by Deaglán O’Neill. After this, a few words were said by both the Head Boy Rían and the Head Girl Kate about the upcoming exams and the new after school homework club that will be taking place every Friday. Student Council visits Dáil
On Monday the 26th of January, St. David's student council reconnected with neighbouring schools; Greystones Community College and Templecarrig, following the first Student Council Trilateral Conference. The students travelled by DART to visit Dáil Eireann where they received a guided tour of the Dáil before meeting with local TD, Jennifer Whitmore.
