TY Boys Soccer vs Arklow CBS

On the 5th of December our Transition Year boys football team travelled down to Arklow to play their first game of the TY Cup against Arklow CBS.

The boys started the game with their heads held high. They were all communicating well with one another and within the first 10 minutes Damiano Martin scored by putting the ball in the top corner. They continued playing as a team all throughout the first half keeping one nil ahead. CBS had two goals disallowed due to being off side, this kept St. David’s ahead.

Right from the start of the second half the boys worked amazingly together and pushed the whole way through with 5 more goals from Jack Corrrigan, Ethan Morgan, Daffydd Davies, Leo Hannon and Oisín Duff.

After these goals CBS continued to put up a fight and managed to get a goal making the score 6-1. In the last two minutes of the game Leo Hannon scored another goal leaving the final score to be 7-1 to St. David's.
