A match against East Glendalough kicked off the rugby season for our Jr. Boys team.
On the 27th of September, our Junior boys rugby team departed to Wicklow Rugby Club alongside our 1st Year rugby team to play a fixture against East Glendalough. This team of 2nd and 3rd years played outstandingly against a strong East Glendalough side with captain Oscar Lane leading from the front with one try, but showing fantastic leadership skills and 2nd year Elijah Pegman was a stand out player out of the youngsters on the team.
It was a tough game for our Junior Team, but they came out victorious with a 31-22 win! This team shows major potential and we, as a school, are looking forward to seeing what they can achieve this year.
