On the 5th of December our Transition Year boys football team travelled down to Arklow to play their first game of the TY Cup against Arklow CBS. The boys started the game with their heads held high. They were all communicating well with one another and within the first 10 minutes Damiano Martin scored by putting the ball in the top corner. On the 8th of December, our Junior Girls' soccer team faced local rivals GCC in what proved to be a successful match, filled with opportunities to develop their already impressive skills and teamwork. They arrived at 12:25 to a cold and windy Greystones United. They were led in a warm up by captain, Alanna Synnott, who left them motivated and ready to go. On Friday the 5th of December, the creative writing group and the first years gathered in the library for a workshop by the amazing Eilish Fisher, who is the author of the novel Fia and the Last Snowdeer.
