1st Year Girls Football Vs GCC

On the 30th of September, the 1st Year Girls' football team took on GCC in a match at the Greystones United AFC astro. The game kicked off to a quick start. GCC took the lead with strong attacking play early on and controlled the play in the first half bringing the score to 4-0. 

In the second half, the girls came out with a strong mindset and never dropped their heads. Mia Cleere scored a great goal early on to get them back in the game followed by goals from Katie Ward and Lucia Brock. Mia Cleere went on to score a brace making the score 4-4. Unfortunately for them, GCC went on to score the last and final goal taking them the win and bringing the score line to 5-4 to GCC.
