David's Students Win Under-15 County Hurling Final

St. David's have had many reasons to celebrate sporting success in recent times but on Saturday, our very own George Donnelly and Oscar Brennan took their talents to Echelon Park, Aughrim, leading their side to victory.

Temporarily swapping the school colours for those of Bray Emmets, George and Oscar played pivotal roles in the Wicklow U15 ‘A’ hurling final against county rivals, Michael Dwyers. George's typically tenacious goalkeeping heroics were on full show, ensuring scores were consistently thwarted. Equally, Oscar's playmaking ability was perfectly showcased as he artfully shook off pressure from multiple opposing players to create a crucial goal which ultimately proved vital to Bray Emmets' win.

The heroic contributions of both players, alongside their teammates, ensured that Bray Emmets ultimately ran out the winners in a keenly-contested scoreline of 4-8 to 1-15. Congratulations to George and Oscar and we look forward to their continued success on the sporting field in the coming months.
