On Wednesday the 17th of April, our F1 in Schools team "Eurol Dullahan Racing" held a simulator day. They set up two consoles on the first and second floor allowing as many people as possible to come and try out this unique experience. Students from all the year groups came down during break time and after school to show their skills on the track. Even some of the teachers had a go!
The fastest teacher and the fastest three students received prizes on Friday. The fastest teacher was Mr Egan with a time of 1.29.9. The top three students battled it out for their spots till the end and the final results were P1 - Fionn Mckie (3rd Year), P2 - Rowan Carr (3rd Year) and P3- Max Latham (6th Year).
This Simulator Day was held to raise money for the team and their journey to the national finals. It was also held as a promotion of the competition. The team now have their sights set on the National Finals on the 31st of May in the University of Limerick.
It was a great fun-filled day overall and a big thanks to everyone who came down to support the team!
