On Wednesday the 24th of January, our Junior Boys Football team left school to play against Coláiste Chill Mhantain. After a quick warm up, the match began at 10 am. Our team played excellently despite the poor pitch conditions. The first half we played very aggressively and had most of the possession of the ball. After an assist from Luca Kelly, Nathan Van den Bergh scored the first goal of the match. We then had Ben O’Connor score a second goal just before half-time.
After half-time, our team continued to give it their all as they had great opposition. Our team was able to score a third goal, by Nathan Van den Bergh. The match ended 3-0 to us and after the teams shook hands and our team took a photo together, we headed back to school. Well done to the junior boys for such an amazing game!
