Our Junior Girls Rugby team were in action against Temple Carrig on Wednesday the 22nd of October in Greystones Rugby Club.
The game began at 12:30 on a sunny afternoon. The game started off very end to end with plenty of tries scored in the first half. Tries from Niamh, Anna, Orla and a great try from Elliana saw David's into half time with a 25-15 lead. The girls received a few words of encouragement from their coach Ms. Collins and from Mr. Davies who also came down to watch.
In the second half the scoring slowed down as David's tried to defend their lead making some great tackles. More tries from Anna and Niamh helped David's go on to win the game 35-30.
This was a great hard fought victory for our Junior Girls rugby team which they will hope to build on in future games. A huge thanks goes to their coach, Ms. Collins and to Temple Carrig for giving the girls such a tough match.
