Second year basketball vs CCA 29/1/30

The second year basketball team took on CCA on the 29th of January at home in our sports arena. The match started at 13:15. The girls had high hopes of a win going into the match. 

CCA took a dramatic lead for the first two quarters of the game. The girls did not give up, holding their heads high. In the third quarter the girls got multiple baskets by Aisling McGloin, Danielle Dominguez, Ava Keane and Emma McKenna. The girls began to catch up to CCA. 

In the final quarter, the girls pushed through and got a couple more baskets making the final score 22-32. The girls showed their determination throughout the entire game. They worked well as a team and did not give up. 

Hard luck to the girls, but well done for the efforts! Thank you to their coach Ms. Matthews who supported them throughout the whole game.
