Shauna Seifried: Golf Supremo

Our international superstar golfer, Shauna Seifried, has wrapped up a glittering summer in which her trophy cabinet saw yet more incredible additions.

Shauna competed in the Prodreams Irish Open-USA College Showcase. In a competitive field, she made it all the way to a 3-way play off for the title, eventually emerging victorious with a delightful birdie.

She also excelled back home in Ireland. She won the Gross prize shooting a 2 under, securing a final score of 70. Shauna shot an impressive 2 under par (70). The ladies course record is 73.

She was a member of the winning Leinster team for a second year running in the Inter-Provincial series, hosted at Millicent Golf Club, Clane. Shauna once again walked away with yet another Golf Ireland medal.

Recently, she also played in the All- Ireland AIG Woman’s and Junior golf event in Ardee where she placed a very strong 7th. More locally, she now holds the lowest Lady/Junior female golfer handicap at her club, Greystones Golf club. We all can't wait to see what lies ahead for Shauna, whose success is gathering momentum each time she steps onto the fairway!
