On the 22nd of December, we had our annual Christmas concert held in the sports arena. However this year we had very special guests from YSgol Uwchradd Bodedern from Wales. We had an amazing lineup filled with the music club, solos and school choir. Songs ranging from “Take me to Church” and “Home” to “Teenage Dirtbag” and “Whatsername”. We also had lovely performances from our Welsh choir. It's clear to us all that we have some real musical talent in our school community.
The holiday spirit in the sports arena was high as everyone joined in to sing along to their favourite songs. To finish off the already amazing concert we had a surprise song sung by some of our teaching staff and the welsh band concluding a festive final day to the school term. The students left the sports arena and were delighted to see that the tradition of a selection box on the last day of term was kept up. Students were given Christmas wishes and everyone headed home to have a well deserved rest after a busy few months.
