TY Alpha Programme

Alpha is an eleven week program for TY students. The program is run by Father John, and Father Gerard, and is assisted by a group of TY students - they are the TY leaders for the program. It takes place fifth period every Thursday after lunch. In the Alpha program, students learn and discuss topics of life and the Christian faith. The TYs are sorted into groups under one or two TY leaders. Each week a TY leader begins a session with a game. The TYs then watch a video discussing the week's topic. During this video, questions are asked and the students discuss these in their groups. Alpha is a great opportunity for young people to question and strengthen their faith. It is enjoyed by all who attended.
