U16 Basketball VS John Scottus 03/11

On Monday 3rd of November, our U16 team played John Scottus. Led by coach Ms. Dempsey, the team boasted a terrific win in our home court.

Starting off the first quarter with a bang, Heather Stokes kicked off the match with the first basket of the game. The girls continued to rack up the score in the second quarter, Moya Marrinan and Niamh Hoolahan scoring a combined 6 baskets, leaving the half time score at a whopping 20-11. 

The girls held their lead throughout the third and fourth quarters, with tight defense and a strong attacking line rewarding them with non-stop baskets. The match ended on a high with a tremendous win of 42-23! Congratulations and well done to the team for the phenomenal skills and teamwork shown. 

As always, a big thank you to John Scottus for travelling to play us and giving us a great match and lively competition. And of course thank you to coach Ms. Dempsey as well.
