Share our school day 2026
On the 28th of January 2026, St. David's invited first years to bring their grandparents, parents, guardians, aunts, uncles or friends into our school for a morning of making St. Brigid's crosses over a cup of tea. Debating competition 28/1/26
On the 28th of January, our Junior debating team took on Loreto Bray in close competition, with David’s acting as the opposition and Loreto as proposition to the declaration that ‘restorative justice is superior to retributive justice’. Loreto opened the debate, arguing that addressing the cause of a crime is more effective than simply punishing it. That restorative justice is more cost effective and leads to fewer crimes in the long run. David’s quickly combated this argumen

Junior cert awards 2025
On the 26th of January 2026, St. David’s celebrated their Junior Cycle Class of 2025. Each student's grades were congratulated and every student who received a distinction was additionally presented with an award. Our students outdid themselves this year and made the school proud as our total student cohort achieved an outstanding 201 distinctions! This is 17.63%, which is double the national average of 8.65%.
