Seachtain na Gaeilge March 2026
Seachtain na Gaeilge a bhí ann an tseachtain seo. Over the last number of days we, as a school community have celebrated everything to do with Irish culture, whether it be through traditional music, dance, Gaeilge and more. Every year group was involved in activities to celebrate this very important and special week. Senior Boys Gaelic Blitz
The Senior Boy’s Gaelic team competed in a blitz on the 26th of February all the way in Carlow in the SETU pitches. They left school at 9:00 and endured a bus ride that lasted almost two hours but it was worth it in the end because the games they played were brilliant. The first match they played kicked off at 11:15 and it was against East Glendalough. The match started off strongly with an amazing goal by Jamie followed by another in rapid succession. First Year Girls Basketball Vs CCA
On the 29th of January, the first year girls took on CCA in an intense match at home. The match started at 12.30 and the minute the whistle blew the girls were determined to put up a strong fight. The girls were neck in neck with CCA and the tension was rising. Hannah Allman scored the first basket for the team. CCA shortly came back with a few points. There was a tie until the halfway mark.
