The Minor Boys' Football team kicked off their league this week with their first match against Blackrock College, on the 17th of October 2025. The boys’ spirits were high as they launched their campaign off the back of their title victory last season. This Monday the 13th of October saw the beginning of an exciting initiative to promote women’s sport in our own school. At lunchtime, the sports arena will be open to girls of all year groups to use for sports of their liking. The First Year Boys A’s rugby team played local rivals TCG in a friendly match as a warm up for their league campaigns. As soon as the match began, St. David's dominated the play, utilising their skillset they've been developing in training. From the off, the boys managed to keep possession as they made their way up the pitch. As St. David's were close to the TCG’s try line, they managed to get a penalty, securing a try in the process.
