On Tuesday November the 7th, our Green Schools water ambassadors attended a great day of training in the Hyatt Centric Hotel, Dublin.
8 TY students, who are in leadership and important roles on our Green Schools committee, attended the first day of the course and represented St David's in the meeting.
There were lots of informative talks from people in companies such as Uisce Eireann and Clean Coasts who taught the students how to run a campaign in terms of protecting and conserving water, and educated them about water conservation.
They were provided with bags, hoodies and many other items to help them promote green schools and run their campaigns. Food was also provided, and the TY's enjoyed an educational day that expanded their knowledge.
Our green schools committee is looking forward to a productive year continuing their excellent work so far!
