Margaret Aylward Day

Each year, we, as a school community, celebrate Margaret Aylward on the anniversary of her death in 1889. She is the founder of the Holy Faith Sisters who then went on to found the amazing thing that is our wonderful school in 1906. This year, some words were said over the intercom to all our students in her memory, with everyone silently praying. We teamed up with some pupils St. Brigid's National School, who are one of our many feeder schools and are situated right behind us, and together, both of our students sang a beautiful choir song to remember her.
