Senior Girls Gaelic vs Bridgetown

On the 6th of January, our Senior Girls traveled to Bridgetown, Co. Wexford for their next fixture. The girls put in an outstanding performance especially with the horrible weather conditions.

The match began at 11.20 with St. David’s starting off strong, with one goal and three points early on thanks to Hazel, Caoimhe, and Lucy, but these were quickly matched by Bridgetown.

Then came half time spirits were raised by Ms. O'Gorman and the team went out with confidence and motivation. Bridgetown scored first in the second half around 10 minutes in and it was all square again. Unfortunately, St. David couldn't hold on and eventually after putting up an excellent fight just about came up short in the end.

A massive thank you to the coach Ms O'Gorman, and Bridgertown for the great match.
