Senior Girls Soccer Victory - November '23

On Wednesday, 8th of November our Senior Girls travelled to Greystones United to face St Killian's of Bray in their second league match of the year. Our Captain, Sarah Duff led the girls through their warm up and out onto the pitch.

There was even possession in the early few minutes from both teams, but the David's girls found their chance, as Charlotte Hudson put a tidy one past the goalkeeper, making the score 1-0 in the 10th minute. Further chances were made by both teams, with a few solid saves from our goalkeeper, Lauren O’Leary. And just before halftime, Casey Hall made the score 2-0 at the break.

In the second half it was goals galore! With an incredible 4 goals being scored by Teagan Byrne to make our final tally an impressive 7-0! Well done to all the girls especially, Ella Andrews, Sarah Duff, Teagan Byrne, Charlotte Hudson and Caoimhe Driscoll. It was a great match enjoyed by the team who are still unbeaten!
