Senior Students Triumph in Maths Quiz!

Sixteen fifth and sixth year students competed in the Irish Maths Teachers Association's "Team Maths" Quiz in Templecarrick on Thursday 5th March. Well done to Liam Irvine, Oscar Lane, Sarleya Bernard and Fionn Ryan who took second place (having won the tiebreak round), and honorable mention too to Ella Tidd, Tymek Kempa, Poppy Mullally and James Dixon who came joint second as well, but unfortunately dropped to 4th in the tiebreaker. Twenty four teams competed from all across the county and our two other teams came in joint sixth place, so all and all a very good showing for St. David's Maths students.
