U16 Girls Basketball vs Killenaule

On the 12th of May Ms. Dempsey's U16 basketball team travelled out to National Basketball Arena to play in the final against a strong team from Tipperary. David’s were backed by a large support group from various years. A huge shoutout to Ellie and Teagan from sixth year and the two Niamh’s from second year.

David’s began there warmup at 12:15 that was led by Miss Dempsey. The girls practiced there shooting and defending skills.

David’s had a strong start with quick baskets from Lilly and Helena. They were supported by great words of encouragement from basketball guru, Chester. The team played really well, with excellent defending skills. David's led throughout the match and went on to secure the plate final's win with a score of 30-15. The atmosphere was electric throughout the Arena.

Well done to the U16 Girls team for their impressive performance and dedication throughout the game.

At the end of the match Miss Dempsey presented each player of the team a gold medal for their hard work and deserving win.
