On Friday the 1st of March, the St David's choir headed to Wesley College, Dublin to compete in the schools choir competition. They headed out at 12:30 and after a long bus ride in the snow made it to Wesley in time for the competition. They then had one final warmup and practice session before taking to the stage . They sang a fantastic cover of “The Storm” by James M.DeJardins and achieved 3rd place with a first class honours certificate. The choir has been meeting every Tuesday in preparation for this event and all their hard work has paid off. Well done to the amazing choir and their teachers: Ms.Aylmer, Ms.Richardson and Mr.Noonan. We look forward to hearing their next piece of music in the near future.
