On Friday, 27th March, the entire school gathered together in the sports hall to mark the final school gathering before the Easter break. The assembly started with a welcome from Mr Carey as he gave a quick reminder to the whole school of our values and our ethos. He then continued to wish the best of luck to the Leaving Certificate students with their Irish and foreign language orals taking place over the coming days.

Freya Gustafsson delivered a lenten prayer as we embark on the Easter break, followed by our Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl Rian O’Gorman and Deputy Head Girl Ellie Hall, who gave a brief talk on the Darkness into Light walk that will be taking place on Saturday the 9th of May.

Moving toward some of the achievements from the students in our school, Luke Larkin qualified in the Leinster senior school swimming championship, Kian Quigley who is part of the under 17s Irish soccer squad and Clark Kelly, who placed 1st in the Irish schools' life saving championship.

Mr Brady then went on to give a big thanks and congratulations to all of the students who have been involved in the sports programme and all of the achievements on the sporting front.

Ms Cronley followed with a thanks to all of the students that participate in the arts programme, especially to the TYs and all of their hard work in the musical production and to Mr Short and Ms Courtney for supporting the TY programme as a whole in this endeavour. Thanks were also given to the 2nd year art prefects, as well as Ms Gore and Ms Carey for their work on the Reflect 120 art project.

Deputy Principal Mr Davis closed the assembly once again thanking all of the students and wishing a great Easter break.
