A big thank you to all the students, staff and parents who contributed to the SVP/Sugarloaf Lions hampers for Christmas appeal. The SVP group sorted everything out yesterday to create a lovely variety of items, sweet and savoury, in every hamper. The Lions collected them yesterday evening and three car loads containing all 38 hampers were being delivered at 3pm yesterday. On Wednesday the 3rd of December, a group of 15 TYs organised a Christmas movie night for the first years in aid of Tiglin. The tickets cost €10 upon entry, which included a goodie bag. The group of TYs who organised it will be taking part in a sleepout on December 12th in the Marina in Greystones and donate the money raised to Tiglin to help those sleeping rough this Christmas.
