On a cold and damp Tuesday afternoon on the 21st of October our incredible athletes from first and second year travelled down to Avondale to compete in the cross country. They arrived at 11:45 and were raring to go, well practiced after training every Thursday after school in the run club. The events began with the first year girls who were running 1500 meters. On the 21st of October, our 1st year boys faced a very strong side from De La Salle College away in Churchtown. It was a very tight game, with De La Salle scoring the opening goal after a few minutes. Our 1st year boys didn't give up and kept pushing on.
