First year soccer girls Vs. Presentation Wexford
On the 18th of November, our first year soccer girls faced off against Presentation Wexford. Both teams were ready to kick off at 10:45, prepared to play their cup match despite the extremely cold weather, fair play girls! In the first half, we saw great defence and pressure from our side. 5th Year Double Triumph!
We are very proud to be one of 57 pilot schools in the country who are providing Drama, Film and Theatre Studies as a Leaving Certificate Subject. Three fantastic students, Lucy Finnegan, Lochlan McCarthy and Caoimhe Curtis, who are studying this subject, have shown great initiative and interest in film and drama, both in school and outside - attending local workshops and working on projects in their spare time. Junior Boys' Soccer vs Temple Carrig
On Friday the 7th of November, the Junior Boys football team, led by Mr. Cahill, played a much anticipated local derby against Temple Carrig. The match kicked off at 2:15 and the boys had a very strong start and looked like the better team. A corner was won in the first minute of the game but unfortunately didn't come to anything in the end.
