1st Year Girls Soccer Victory Against Lorreto Bray

On the 16/10/23 our 1st year girls soccer team played against Loreto Bray in Greystones United. In the first half they had some great shots on goal but unfortunately none of them went to plan until Emily O'Driscoll scored the first goal of the match. Then Loreto Bray got their first goal of the game to make it a tie. The first half ended 1-1. Mr.Boland did some rearranging of the team during half time.

The 1st year team came out a lot stronger in the second half, with Moya Andrews and Moya Marrinan scoring in the first few minutes. Chloe Byrne and Aoife Wall worked really hard in centre back together for the whole match. Poppy Smith put out a great performance in midfield. Emily O'Driscoll got her second goal of the match to make the score 4-2 to Davids. In the last couple minutes of the game Mae Flynn scored 2 goals to confirm the win for Davids with the end result being 6-2.

Well done to all of the girls who played and brought home an excellent win!
