At 8:50am on Tuesday the 12th September the 3rd years made their way down to the dining hall for a study skills workshop with Conor Meyler. This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to improve their study methods ahead of their exams this year as well as any future exams . The session focused on quality over quantity and how to optimise your time spent studying overall by only studying key information and how to process out anything unnecessary.
Every student was given a booklet which allowed them to participate in different memory games and activities. The students also got to watch various videos on the science behind the brain to get a better understanding of the science behind these studying tactics. Overall this was hugely enjoyed by the students and will hopefully benefit them for many years to come!
