On Wednesday the 13th of May, one of our very own Transition Year students, Cathal Quinn, organised a coffee morning for any TY student who wanted to attend. It was held in the Dining Hall and most of the year group came to support both Cathal and the charity. The students paid a €5 entry fee that went directly to AsIAm and were welcomed by plates filled with biscuits and croissants! There was also a tea and coffee station.
While some sat down to enjoy their snacks and chat, others played games such as giant Connect Four, beanbag toss and cards. In total, Cathal raised a remarkable €435 in aid of his chosen charity, AsIAm! Thank you to all involved, especially Cathal. He should be very proud of himself for all the work he put into this very successful fundraising event.
