Today, the 20th of May, we had our final Whole School Assembly for the Academic Year 2024/2025. It was a short yet sweet affair that brought the whole school community together for the last time. Mr. Carey began by thanking everyone for an "extraordinary school year" and to stay safe over the highly anticipated summer holidays!
Then, the Deputy Principals, Mrs. O’ Sullivan and Mr. Davies talked about a few logistics for the following year, including, the new free book scheme, the move to become a phone-less school and recycling uniforms.
While that was going on, our Transition Years were eagerly awaiting the announcement of who was chosen to be a Prefect for 2025/2026. 39 candidates applied and 25 were chosen. A huge congratulations to all those selected:

To end the assembly, the school payed a beautiful tribute to Ms. Triona Brosnan, who will be leaving the school this summer. Mr. Carey talked about her dedication to education, her profound impact in the school, and her hardworking attitude. She was presented with a stunning bouquet of flowers. As Mr. Davies says it was “totes-emoish!” We would like to wish Ms. Brosnan the absolute best for the future and say that she will be missed deeply!
