On Wednesday, 6th of December, our Junior Girls G.A.A. team travelled to Colaiste Cill Mhantain for a league match. The girls warmed up before the match kicked off at 10:30.
CCM held possession early throughout the first half, and David's had their fair share of chances as well, but unfortunately they were behind at the break, with a score of 6-3 to 0-0 in favor of CCM at halftime.
But the girls had a great start in the second half, holding possession with an early goal and point from Saorla Purcell , and goals from Siofra Scanlon and Maja Bochenek!
Unfortunately the final score was 9-5 to 3-1 to CCM. It was a hard fought match and well done to all the girls on the team, their coach Mr Kehoe, and especially Siofra Scanlon for her outstanding performance!
