TY Rugby Victory Against CBC Monkstown

On Wednesday the 26th of February, Mr Brady's 4th years had their first victory over a strong CBC Monkstown side in another round of their TY League. It was a windy day which went in their favour. The team worked together and kept their heads high throughout the entire game. Captained by Joe Kavanagh, the team beat the opposition 18-12 with two penalty kicks to the posts, two spectacular tries and a conversion. 

A special mention to fly half Tiernan Williams who scored two penalty kicks and converted his own try from between the posts. The forwards had an outstanding game in defence and attack with special mentions to Noah Morgan, Joe Kavanagh, Tom Hansson and Danylo Biletskyi who held together the David’s side. 

This is a significant milestone for St David’s rugby and could not have been achieved without the help of all the volunteers that help out with running training sessions and organising matches. A special thanks to Mr Brady and Mr Davies!
